Frequently asked questions

What is the capacity of the Fieldbar Gin Trunk?

The listed capacity is 24 litres. Actual drink count depends on container sizes and how much ice is packed.

How many bottles or cans can it hold?

The earlier listing gives example arrangements of 8 × 750 ml champagne bottles, 10 × 750 ml wine bottles or 32 × 440 ml standing cans. These are alternative packing examples, not combined contents, and ice reduces available space.

How long does it keep drinks cold?

The listing claims champagne can stay below 10°C for 50 hours when the trunk is packed full of ice and left outdoors in the shade. Actual duration depends on starting temperatures, conditions, ice load and opening frequency.

Is it an electric fridge?

No. It is an insulated hardcase cooler for packing with drinks and ice, not an electric refrigerator.

How heavy is it?

The listed empty carry weight is 4.9 kg. Filled weight and packed shipping weight are different measurements.

Does it include a Fieldbar Drinks Box?

A Drinks Box is described as fitting inside the Gin Trunk for storage, but is not listed as included with this product.

How should I clean it?

Use warm water and a soft cloth. The supplied care details advise against cleaning products and pressure hosing. Dry the interior before long-term storage.

Will the materials change appearance over time?

The care details note that leather can weather, the cabinet can acquire minor scratches or dents, and brass-coated hardware may oxidise slightly.
